Find Tools. Pay for Materials. Collect Training Credentials.

The MIT Mobius system contains a catalog of most makerspaces at MIT along with a tool inventory for each. It also lets you pay for maker supplies with credit card, MakerBucks, or TechCash, and it stores your training credentials earned in MIT makerspaces.

Make sure to sign into Mobius with MIT Touchstone using the Log In link to get access to all Mobius functionality.

What You Can Do In Mobius

All MIT community members can use Mobius to find equipment and makerspace facilities, check equipment status, and pay for materials and machine time. You can also earn training credentials in Mobius as you get trained on equipment, tools, and processes.

Find Tools and Equipment

Across MIT’s campus, there are more than 40 major makerspaces with more than 300 different kinds of equipment. Mobius saves students time by allowing them to easily search for the equipment they need, find where it is located and ensure it is available at the time they need it.
